Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Strategies have been used to reduce traffic impacts throughout the United States. MK has been a leader in the use of TDM strategies. While at the California Department of Transportation, Michael Kodama was the team leader responsible for developing TDM programs that mitigated freeway construction.
After leaving Caltrans, Mr. Kodama utilized TDM strategies as part of comprehensive traffic mitigation programs in Burbank, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Denver, New York and many other places.
